Being luckier than many others in Christchurch, I've been less badly affected by the earthquake, and my life has almost returned to normal.
Well, that's a lie. Things are far from normal right now. After spending several days volunteering at the Red Cross, I was offered a job there, processing grant applications for earthquake victims. Being in the mail room is the worst job; you see all the letters and photos of ruined houses people put in with their applications.
University is slowly getting back on its feet, but one of my courses has become a distance learning course, and the other two haven't restarted yet, so life is full of uncertaint
