Being luckier than many others in Christchurch, I've been less badly affected by the earthquake, and my life has almost returned to normal.

Well, that's a lie. Things are far from normal right now. After spending several days volunteering at the Red Cross, I was offered a job there, processing grant applications for earthquake victims. Being in the mail room is the worst job; you see all the letters and photos of ruined houses people put in with their applications.

University is slowly getting back on its feet, but one of my courses has become a distance learning course, and the other two haven't restarted yet, so life is full of uncertainty right now.

But hey, remember at the end of last year when I said I was going to start work on a webcomic for reals this time? Well it turns out I wasn't being overly confident in my own ability to stay the course. I've got several pages finished and several more in the works. I will post the first page on Monday, and another on every following Monday, until the super secret Website that Zephrania is working on happens, at which point a new schedule will happen.

I'm also getting less busy with life in general now that things have quietened down from the earthquake, so hopefully I'll be able to spend more time on dA and actually get my inbox cleared or something...

Red cross work? Wow. That's kind of you. However, if you're working with the pictures and such, not to mention you've been in the earthquake, I'd suggest seeing a psychiatrist. Trauma isn't anything to laugh at and it can sit far far deeper in you than you'd first think. You might find out you need one, or you may just confirm you don't. Regardless, it won't hurt you.

Slightly inconvenient with the university, but it's better than nothing huh? As for the website, I've been tinkering a bit, though our teach has been rather rough on it us catching up on the things we missed due to portfolio work. I haven't given up though. If I can find a way to combine that package with a standard web page and split it out...
